Half of your bid becomes the bounty on your rank.

Every listing on this board carries a public bounty: half of its listed bid. Pass it, and that bounty comes straight off your own price — before you pay, not as a refund afterwards.

Which means the more someone bid to sit above you, the cheaper it is to knock them off. A rank listed at $14,000 has $7,000 sitting on it. Take the rank, claim the bounty, pay about half. Your listing still shows the full bid.

Nobody loses money when they get passed. They keep every dollar they paid and simply move down a place. The bounty is funded by the new bid, not taken from their pocket.

The bottom of the board stays cheap on purpose. A $5 listing carries a $2 bounty, so nobody bothers hunting it — entry never inflates, and all the pressure lands where the money already is.

Pay to rank. Wear the bounty. Try to keep it.
